Some Oldies but Goodies

I'm applying for a DT so I wanted to show them what I can do. So I went through some of my older work that I hadn't put up here and decided to put them on.

These count towards my 50 for 2011. These were gifts I made for my sister-in-laws.

These also count for my 50. They are pages I made for friends at OSU. They sent me the photos and I made the pages for them. I also sent photos to them and they made pages for me that were wonderful. It was a lot of fun.

These are some more of the 50. The 1st is my Black & White challenge. The 2nd and 3rd were both telephone scraplifts. Yes, I'm still working on my wedding album. We've only been married 13 years!

These can't count on my 50. They were all done last year or the year before, but I really like all of them.

And these were some attempts at digital. I like digital, but I prefer paper.

Another Page!!!!

A new page. Another sketch from Nuts About Sketches!!!! These are photos that my hubby took while we were camping a couple weekends ago. My 1st sighting of a baby moose. They are all gangley and cute. I have LOTS more photos of this camping trip, but not the most important ones. Our motor home caught on fire and it took 3 1/2 hours for someone to come rescue us. Hubby asked if I wanted him to take pictures of us in our camp chairs in front of the broke-down motor home, and I said yes. But he never did. Bummer. That would have been a great page!

More Pages!!!!!

Its been a while since my last post and I've gotten some more scraping done.
This 1st one I just did. I got the sketch from http://nutsaboutsketches.blogspot.com/
I LOVE this site. Love the sketches. I have 3 more on my desk that I'm going to use.

This one is of my daughter and her BFF. I love this song by Uncle Kracker. And these girls do make me smile!

These next 2 were challenges from Obsessed Scrappers Undivided. We all sent in supplies to one lady and then she divided them up and sent them back. Then we had to create a page using at least 1 of everything. I didn't win, but I liked what I came up with.

And last, this is the MAY Telephone scraplift from OSU. I've done June and July, but we aren't finished yet, so I can't post them. I really had fun with this scraplift and really liked the way it turned out. I just wish I had the original so you could see the progression.

Tara's Layered Flower Challenge

It took a while, but I finally got Tara's layered flower challenge done. I actually wanted to do this LO for my BBQ challenge, but couldn't figure out how to put a banner on it. So I went a different way. Funny, these papers are from Tara. She sent them to me when we were doing the Secret Sister. It is BG Origins. I don't normally like BG but I really like this set.
This is just some old photos of us camping. It was Andy's first camping trip.

16 pages done, 34 left.

Challenge #4

Challenge 4 was to make 3 cards using the scraps on our desk. They have to have layered images and ribbon.

Challenge #2

Challenge 2 was to scraplift yourself. The top was a page I made last year of Katy's new glasses. I really like the way it turned out. The bottom is how I re-did it. Not too different, but I like it!

Challenge 3

Yes. I know I skipped 2. I'll do that next. Nina had us make the "wonderful" flowers on the left and gave a page to scraplift. And this is my version. Ya know I love ya, Nina!!!!

OSU CROP

Challenge one
Use scraps. I used 12 pp scraps. The background is 2. The black and white photo is matted on one. The chipboard piece under the black & white photo is covered in a scrap. I used a different scrap for each of the letters and then a different one for the background strip. And the flowers are punched out of scraps. And then I put some IRocks on the papers.

2011 - 50 pages

I have decided to set a goal for myself. I am going to make 50 pages this year. I think it is a reasonable goal, don't you. So here are the 1st three pages of 2011. The 1st is a 2page spread about 2010. A lot of things happened that year and I wanted to make sure we remembered them. Even Dan was surprised when he read the journaling. He kept saying he had forgotten these things.

The next page is a RARE page. It features my now 16yr old neice Cheyenne. Photos of her are very very rare. This is a really cool fort the kids built while we were camping at Buffalo Bill Reservoir. They did it all themselves and had a blast.

The last is some OLD photos of my baby Andy. We had gone up to Panorama Point to show the kids where Mommy and Daddy and Mammie and Poppa got married. They were just some cute photos I wanted to get scrapped.

I also did a page for my SIL for a birthday present, but I didn't take a photo of it, so I'm done with 4 pages for the year. 4 down 46 to go. And I have ideas for more pages for my other SIL for her birthday. Thanks for looking at my pages.
